A spring-loaded mounting bracket-where the heater flange is clamped against springs rather than rigidly bolted-reduces the transmitted vibration amplitude to the cold end by 60–90%, lowering cyclic stress to 0.5–2 MPa. The springs act as mechanical filters: low stiffness (10–50 N/mm) allows the heater to move with the vibration rather than resisting it, dissipating energy through damping.
